#krezip used to be a popular channel for fans of Krezip, the band. Initially (mid 2000), it was the official Krezip chat channel, linked from their website.

When Krezip gained a lot of popularity, the channel was quite crowded with people, many of whom became friends to eachother from chatting and visiting gigs.
After a few years, general interest in Krezip decreased as the music changed with the new album, and the band seemed to have lost its freshness. Also, the official Krezip website stopped linking to the channel in favour of a new web based chat section, which effectively stopped the stream of new fans visiting the channel. Gradually the amount of visitors to the channel decreased, and many fans / friends switched to using other chatmedia.
Nowadays, the channel is mainly used as a private chat channel for Mrten, mark and broken_angel. Every now and then, an old friend manages to find the channel again.

- broken_angel, the channel's artist. Hrm no, broken_angel is actually our channel pet. Except that instead of us taking care of her, it's really the other way round. She makes sure we talk, get enough sleep (or not), offers us food when we're hungry... and guards the channel while we're away. Oh, and she does draw some pretty nice pictures in between.
