It would be cool if we had some wiki templates for things like:

  • Showing your online status, similar to /whois or /ns info output on IRC.
  • Displaying a channel's access list with each name listed being a link to their wiki user page.

Is this easy to do? If so then I might try.

You could create a <sql> plugin that works in much the same way as the <rawhtml> plugin (only works on protected pages, etc). Templates do support parameters, but I'm not sure they work in quite the way we need them to. I suppose a hack would be to make the services templates only work if the page begins with User:user or Channel:channel. --dg 18:45, 29 Jan 2005 (UTC)
