[edit] K:line

You will need access to the server's config file. Add an F:line like:

F:<your current host>::<your username>

(if you don't use identd, put * in there)

Then do a

killall -HUP <ircd's pid>

and after you reconnect to IRC, oper up and

/rehash tklines

Don't forget to remove the F:line after this!

If you don't have access to the ircd.conf then you'll have to wait for someone who does. Use a backup o:line on another server until then -- and of course you have negotiated backup o:lines already like all good opers should, right? :)

[edit] AKILL

You are basically screwed with this one. You'll need to contact a services admin outside of IRC to get rid of the AKILL first. It may be easier just to change your host by means of a bouncer or a shell account somewhere. Normally this would be AKILL evasion, but it's acceptable for an oper to do this if it is clear that the AKILL was placed by accident.
